  • ASSD Housekeeping App

We have updated our ASSD Housekeeping App in the web-based PMS with some great new features. The update includes:

    • Special areas can now also be linked to meeting room occupancy
    • Stayer cleaning can be displayed.
    • Special tasks can now be entered per room and day

  • ASSD Web Check-In WCI

Web check-in with mobile key means that your guest can check in before arrival and have the room key generated on their cell phone. A great additional service for the guest, who can enter the hotel as if it were their own home and go to their room without having to wait at reception.

During the online check-in process, the guest uploads the registration form with all the required details and is guided through the payment process. The hostel or hotel has the option of upselling here, i.e. additional breakfasts or activities or similar can be sold.

Once the booking has been successfully paid for, the guest receives the mobile key shortly before arrival, get their room number, can use the elevator and has everything they need for an uncomplicated arrival.

Not only the guest benefits but also the hotel, as web check-in reduces the workload at the front office for example. Reception staff can devote themselves to other tasks and staff planning can be done differently.

Please ask our staff how the ASSD Web Check-In can be used in your company – info[at]assd.com.

  • Meeting YHA England & Wales

The English-Welsh Youth Hostel Association YHA England and Wales and the ASSD Hotel and Hostel Software team came together for workshops and presentations in Manchester in the last week of September.

Current and new projects were discussed and launched, and various future goals and paths were discussed.

After the conferences we made our way together to the Lake District to get to know and visit some of the local YHA hostels.

We took away many new and exciting impressions as well as interesting suggestions from the UK and would like to thank YHA England & Wales once again. We are very happy about the many years of trustful cooperation!

  • E-mail search

New in the web-based ASSD PMS 3: Simplified search in the guest file via e-mail.

When creating a new guest, you can now enter the corresponding e-mail address first and find suitable existing guests in the list below, from which you can then select the relevant one.

  • Cooperation with Austria

We warmly welcome the HI Jugendgästehaus Wien Brigittenau to ASSD Hotel und Hostel Software and look forward to working with the Austrian Youth Hostel Association in the future.

After a brief 14-day closure the Vienna Youth Guest House in the Brigittenau district has reopened with the new web-based property management system from ASSD.

We wish the team a great start and a full house at all times!

  • BS Payone

New at ASSD: Cloud-based interface to card payment terminals from BS Payone – for faster and simpler communication regardless of the terminal manufacturer.

This enables your customers to make payments with all common payment methods, credit cards and debit cards (formerly EC cards) as well as contactless transactions via smartphone, tablet or smartwatch.

  • Digital highlights

The web-based ASSD PMS impresses with its versatile functionality.

The digital highlights, which offer our Hostelliers and Hotelliers as well as their guests numerous advantages, are particularly appreciated.

In addition to the convenient web check-in, which guests can do from the comfort of their own home, there is now also the option of self-check-in on site. ,In the hotel lobby, guests can enter all their data via tablet in the hotel lobby, which is immediately transferred to the ASSD PMS. This speeds up the check-in process and saves valuable time at reception.

Another self-service option also contributes to this: guests can create their own room key or key card in the lobby. This makes him independent of the availability of the reception staff and saves time for himself and the hotel staff.

This function is only superfluous if the guest arrives with a mobile key – also one of the digital highlights of the ASSD PMS.

Upload certificates online – no problem in the ASSD Hospitality Cloud 3.0!

Smartphone apps such as Mobile Housekeeping or the Breakfast Check app make a significant contribution to facilitating communication between employees and between guests and staff.

The housekeeping app is a mobile tool for cleaning staff and building services. All room information is received directly from the PMS in real time and sent to the PMS.

With the new Breakfast Check app, tedious breakfast checks with paper lists are finally a thing of the past. You simply scan the guest’s QR code or search for them by name or room number. This means that the data is directly in the system, eliminating the need for tedious subsequent transfers, and colleagues in the front office are always up-to-date.

  • App breakfast list

Drinking coffee is now even easier for your guests and, above all, for the hotel or hostel staff as well. The new app in the web-based ASSD PMS 3 replaces the conventional manual check using a breakfast list.

This means that the tedious breakfast check with paper lists is finally a thing of the past. With the app now available, you can scan the guest’s QR code or search for them by name or room number and simply tick them off.

This means that the data is directly in the system, eliminating the need for tedious subsequent transfers, and colleagues in the front office are always up-to-date.
